Measuring Your Finger

  1. Cut a thin strip of paper about 1 cm thick.

  2. Wrap the strip of paper around your finger, where you want your ring to fit. Make sure you pull it snug to find your best fit.

  3. Mark the spot where the paper meets and measure it with a ruler in millimeters (mm).

  4. Use the chart below (finger circumference) to find your size.

 

Measuring an Existing Ring
  1. Choose a ring that fits on the desired finger.
  2. Measure the inside diameter of the ring in millimeters (mm).
  3. Use the chart below (ring diameter) to find your size.

 

Tips on measuring your finger
  • Make sure the weather is not too hot or cold as this will affect your size. Too hot, your fingers will swell. Too cold, your fingers will shrink.
  • Consider the width of the band as a thicker band will fit more snugly than a thinner band would.
  • If you are between sizes, choose the size that matches closest.
